Otherwise no, I’m not chucking a $50+ palette after 12 months. I keep my brushes clean and store my palettes in a clean, dry location. It’s fine. For liquids though, I do pretty strictly follow the expiry dates.

Is 7 years too long? The only eyeshadow palette I have left, that I haven’t decluttered, is my original Lorac Pro. I bought it around 2015, if I remember correctly, and while I don’t know what the expiration on it was, it still looks/smells/seems fine. The problem is, I haven’t even hit pan on any of the shades.
