Probably not because the light wouldn't penetrate to cure it. There is a brand called apres (I think) that works like this and I'm sure you could diy some similar products. But you'd have to apply the tip/fake nail to yours before the art. Maybe you could make yourself a decal (using a mat/yogurt lid style) and apply that to an apres style nail.

First off gel sticks to gel and gel sticks to a prepped nail. Plastic doesn't adhere very well. Secondly, try holding it all in place together long enough to cure at a good angle under a lamp without totally screwing it up. I believe press on nails that are gel based are attached with gel.
